Gnosis signed with the Municipality of Molos-Agios Konstantinos the project entitled “System of conservation resources in Garbage Collection and Fuel for Municipalities of Lokroi, Amfiklia-Elatia and Molos-Agios Konstantinos”. The project has a budget of 349783,71 Euro, and its main objective is to create an ecosystem of smarts sensors installed in critical vehicles of Municipalities. The system consists of vehicle telematic equipment, fuel level gauge, fuel flow meters, weighing and Identification bins, RFID tags for each bucket, application monitoring and management of municipal fleet vehicle, implementation of decision support and routing, application for management fuel consumption, implementation and diffusion of calculating environmental impact - February 2014

The project of wireless infrastructure’s expansion in Municipalty of Domokos has been completed with success. It now consists of three discrete sections, each one in every municipal unit with over than forty stations. Launched with success the first Windows Phone mobile application. Mobile TourGuide constitutes an application for cities travel guide and navigation. Points of Interest as well as Points of Events which are dynamically updated, build a rich information knowledge base which becomes available for users in 3D forms. Completed the evaluation of proposals submitted under the action nationwide "Cooperation 2011-Productive Partnerships and Research Institutions focused research and technology." Our company participates in the action entitled “Development of a Geo-Environmental information system for the region of CENtral Greece” with coordinator the University of Central Greece (Information Processing and Management Lab). The project aims at the establishment of an EGIS for managing environmental information in the Region of Central Greece. It consists of 11 Work Packages that cover activities ranging from project coordination, data collection, system development, dissemination of project outcomes, system sustainability, including protection of intellectual property rights and exploitation of EGIS. It will last 27 months and has a budget of 0.5 ME. - July 2012

Completed in Amsterdam on 18-19 April 2012, the first workshop of project SmartCitySDK-Smart City Service Development Kit and its Application Pilots with the presence of our company. The goal of the City Requirements questionnaire was introduced by the partners to the basic ideas behind the Service Oriented Architecture computing paradigm. Additionally, a few conclusions based on the first answers (Lamia, Amsterdam, Helsinki) to the questionnaire were presented. Afterwards, partners focused on finding answers to the most important questions in the questionnaire. - March 2012

Held in Brussels on 16-17 February 2012, the official kick-off meeting of project SmartCitySDK-Smart City Service Development Kit and its Application Pilots with the presence of our company. The project has a total budget of 7 ME, will run until 2014 and is designed to create three pilot "smart" applications of ICT systems for European cities. These applications relate to serving the daily lives of citizens in the areas of travel, of participation and tourism. Additionally, to enhance the effectiveness of the project and the dissemination of results, plans to create a single joint and open source software (open source) CitySDK, which can be utilized and further extended or for cities involved in the project or other that would like to use. - January 2012
